Our Story
We’re Mickey and Tony, a husband-and-wife duo who believe in the magic of creating something beautiful — and then sharing it with others. Our journey started years ago with photography, long walks in nature, and plenty of gallery visits that fueled our creative spark. Over time, that love for art evolved into two Etsy shops:
- Leyvonne Puzzles -> A dedicated shop for our collection of challenging (and frame-worthy!) jigsaw puzzles.
- leYvonne -> Our broader creative outlet with art prints, digital downloads, canvas wraps and more.
The name leYvonne itself is special – a blend of Tony’s middle name (Lee) and my middle name (Yvonne). It’s pronounced le (using a short e sound) combined with Yvonne.
Art born from memory, shaped by the land.
What Inspires Us
Much of our inspiration comes from the places we’ve called home throughout our lives. We grew up in Minnesota — a land of far more than just 10,000 lakes — and later found ourselves in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. Today, we’re rooted in the Arizona desert, where saguaros reach for the sky, wild burros wander, a few buffalo still roam, and coyotes sing under golden sunsets.
Sometimes that inspiration comes from a treasured memory, other times from a story just waiting to be told through color, shape, and form.
We also love experimenting with technology — using AI as a tool to bring our visions to life. Each piece is fine-tuned with digital brushes, color balance, and thoughtful details until it feels just right.
